Bernard Stote

Bernard Stote is an American Artist who works in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and Exhibition Design. Bernard is the founder of Hanging Art and has worked with over 400 artists since 2004 as a curator and art handler. He has an extensive background in public and private sectors working in the arts, digital media, fashion and retail design. Bernard was the lead artist of a large-scale sculpture unveiled at the Kennedy Center in 2011. "Finding the Way to Balance", is a three-part painted wood sculpture depicting the highs and lows of Manic Depression. It is on view to the public at One Court Square, also known as the Citicorp building in Long Island City. Bernard holds a BFA from Slippery Rock University, and studied Architecture at Temple University. He also teaches privately in art education and art history.
