Oct 4, 2017 - We would like to congratulate artist Victoria Manganiello and her recent opening of her exhibition, "Striking Somewhere - New Works by Victoria Manganiello." The exhibition is on exhibit at The Java Project in Green Point Brooklyn which is managed by Gallery Director Dakota Sica. The exhibit runs from September 16 - October 20. Oct 1, 2017 - We are please to announce that Hanging Art Organization founded by Bernard Stote and his dedicated volunteers and brilliant Artists will be starting to bring you new exhibitions in the Metropolitan area of New York City. We are so excited to be returning with shows for our dedicated fans and art collectors. Please stay tuned, and watch for our social media announcements in the coming months. A Call for Art is currently under development for a Fall 2018 show.

May 16, 2017 - Join us on Thursday, May 18, 2017 From 6:00 - 9:00 pm for our Opening Art Reception of SUPERME. This exhibition is in conjunction with the LIC Long Island City Art Open which runs from rom May 17-21st. The Art Installation is at The Local, 13-02 44th Avenue, Long Island City, NY. The Local is a stylish HOSTEL in Long Island City. Super Me includes 20 works by 13 artists working in many different mediums, including a video installation.

January 1, 2014 - It is with much sadness that today will be our last day of managing the Gallery New World Stages. We are very thankful for the staff at New World Stages and Stage Entertainment for allowing myself and volunteers in creating exhibits since 2010 for the many guests at the Theater Arts Complex. We will be back doing pop-up exhibitions in New York, and are planning on finding another public gallery, and satellite galleries for Hanging Art. Since our launch at New World Stages we have had artists from many parts of the world including, Jakarta, South Africa, South America, Canada, London, The Middle East and so many talented artists from New York City and all over America. Again thank you to Michael Coco for entrusting me with such a great honor as curator and managing the wonderful art exhibitions we brought you over the years. August 1, 2013 - Join us on Thursday, September 12th for our Fall Opening Art Reception - THAT FACE: The Art of Ken Fallin - Broadway, Hollywood & Wall Street. Featuring over 75 original works of Caricature art, highlighting celebrities from today and yesteryear.

July 5, 2013 - Join us on Friday, July 12th for our Summer Art Reception: Our main exhibit comes from the Smithsonian and VSA The International Organization on Arts and Disability at the Kennedy Center. This exhibit was made possible by the support of Volkswagen Group of America. The reception will have live music by Blessing Offor and Siren. Also featured in the gallery are the Doors of New York by Martin Cohen, Vintage Trucks by Nancy Weezy Forman, Rob Wardell, and works by Brady Smith. The reception is from 5-8pm, rsvp is encouraged at 646-524-2193.

March 5, 2013 - We are pleased to announce that this upcoming fall during the months of September ? December we will feature a one-person exhibition of the caricature art of artist Ken Fallin. Mr. Fallin work features images of Broadway, Hollywood and Wall Street..

March 3, 2013 - Opening in April are two shows. SPRING, SPRUNG, SPLAT ? features works of art that respond to the object of a mechanical spring. Also on view, a selection of works from artist, Johan Wahlstrom?s, ?It?s Boring To Die.?

January 17, 2013 - Today marks the opening of ELEMENTS IN RED: Works On Canvas. The show exhibition runs thru Mar 31 and features 40 works of art from contributors from Europe, Middle East, North America and Parts of South America..

January 7, 2013 - During the summer of 2013, ?SUSTAINING CREATING?: A national juried exhibition of 15 young emerging artists with disabilities. ?Sustaining / Creating is the 11th exhibition presented by VSA The International Organization on Arts and Disability and Volkswagen Group of America as part of the Kennedy Center?s annual Emerging Artists Program .

>August 7, 2012 (revised 8/12/12) - Today we are pleased to announce that 10% of sales of cartoon and comic art, and a special poster will be donated to benefit the National Parkinson Foundation with our upcoming exhibit FIRST CONTACT: UFOs, Aliens and Broadway. Opening to the public on September 21st.

August 5, 2012 - Met artist and illustrator Gerard Conte today, as he dropped off his completed pages of FIRST CONTACT starring the angry little alien. It is a wonderful 4 page spread of a story of alien love, a gorgeous female vocalist, and it is all set off broadway at New World Stages.

July 30, 2012 - In January 2013, the gallery will present an exhibit called - PAINT 2013: Elements In Red - Works on canvas. Artists will respond to the call for art, with painted works on canvas that either respond to the color red, or include the color within their compositions.

July 24, 2012 - Gallery New World Stages, located at 343 West 49th Street, today announced a list of participating artists for its upcoming fall art show of FIRST CONTACT: UFOs, Aliens and Broadway ? Cartoon & Comic Art. This exhibition presents over 100 original cartoon, comic illustrations and digital prints. The show will be on view from September 7, 2012 through January 6, 2013. Artists included in the exhibition are: Amy Hwang, Bernard Stote, Bob Eckstein, Brett Mareck, Chuck Majewski, Dave Coverly, Eric Rosner, Evan Forsch, Francesco Orazzini, Gerard Conte, Guy Kettelhack, Kenneth Kudulis, Mark Griffin, Shannon Wheeler, Susan Camilleri Konar, Thomas Baehr and more entries are still being accepted until mid August.
